In my experience the only powders you tried that are suitable for light 1 ounce loads in a 12 Ga are Red Dot and Green Dot. If you want to drop down to 7/8 oz then Red Dot is the only one. If you are using the AA HS hulls, then its likely you can use your 1 ounce wads for 7/8 ounce loads with no filler at all. ... or better yet a CB0178-12 wad ...

All I can even add is that I've used the CB0178-12, DRXXL Pink, and Rem TGT12S in AAHS with .8 oz loads. The CB0178-12 tented up and left pellets trapped in the folds and were difficult to insert into the chamber in hot weather.
