I fired 50 rounds of Blazer Brass 115 gr FMJ without any issues but found the magazines were extremely difficult to load due to the strong spring.On the CPX1, the manual safety is molded into the frame, but this feature is dropped on the CPX2. Technically, for a double-action pistol, a manual safety is more or less optional. The long and stiff trigger pull is often adequate to prevent accidental discharge. SCCY probably realized this and decided to introduce the CPX2 without manual safety.

Not sure why you would blame SCCY for an issue like that with a used pistol. I have sold at least 20 CPX 1s and 2s and have never had a lock-back problem. I would bet the farm that the previous owner was to blame. Now that happens all the time! _____
